- Prior credit history or lack of credit history
- Poor payment history with KEC
- Returned or non-sufficient funds payments
- Disconnection of service for late or non-payment
- An unpaid final bill or a previously written-off KEC account
- Tampering with KEC equipment
- Misrepresentation of identity
