Welcome to Kootenai Electric Cooperative’s (KEC’s) net metering program. Please fill out the application below for member-owned generation resources less than 200kW. As part of the online application, the following documents need to be uploaded:
- A signed interconnection agreement (download below) by the member, not the contractor/installer.
- Site plan illustrating location of the Distributed Generation (DG) Resource and KEC utility meter.
- System details providing AC/DC rated output voltage, power, and current. System summary
should also include number of modules, inverters, and other components. - Component details providing manufacturer, model number, technical specifications, and data
bulletins for inverters, modules, optimizers, panels, disconnects, wire, conduit, and other
accessories. - Single line diagram illustrating the interconnection of each DG Resource component to the KEC
system, and location of required disconnect switch.
If file sizes are too large to attach, reply to the application confirmation email and attach remaining documents or email documents to NetMeter@kec.com. Applications are unable to be processed until required documents have been provided.
