Kootenai Electric Cooperative would like to thank all members who attended our 88th Annual Meeting on August 25, 2026. You showed up in record numbers! We appreciate your participation, your questions, and your continued interest in the cooperative.
This year’s meeting saw unprecedented attendance, with a record number of members joining us to learn more about the cooperative, meet employees and directors, and hear updates about the challenges and opportunities facing our industry. The tremendous turnout demonstrated the value our members place on being engaged owners of their cooperative.
We also want to thank members for their patience throughout the evening. The turnout exceeded our expectations, and we appreciate the understanding and flexibility shown as our team worked to accommodate everyone. Your support and enthusiasm helped make the event a memorable success. The good news is we’ll be ready for you next year!

2026 Board Election Results
During the annual meeting, incumbent directors Todd Hoffman (District 3) and Roger Tinkey (District 4) were re-elected to the KEC Board of Directors by acclamation in accordance with KEC’s bylaws. Please join us in congratulating Todd and Roger and thanking them for their continued service to the membership.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, asked questions, visited with employees, and helped make this year’s Annual Meeting one for the record books. We are honored to serve our members and look forward to seeing you again next year.
