2012 Scholarship Program

Kootenai Electric Trust Offers Scholarships
Up to ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Kootenai Electric Cooperative members or their children who are either seniors in high school or currently enrolled in college or an accredited trade or technical institution for the fall of 2012. The scholarships are provided by the Kootenai Electric Trust/Operation Round Up®. Applications will be considered and winners selected by members of the Kootenai Electric Trust Board of Directors, which disburses Operation Round Up® funds contributed by Kootenai Electric members.

The top high school senior scholarship recipient will also win an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Youth Tour in June 2012 provided by Kootenai Electric Cooperative.

Application deadline was February 18, 2012. All applicants will be notified by mail in early April. Winners will be announced at the KEC Annual Meeting on April 24, 2012.
